
Melissa "Missy" Peregrym (born June 16, 1982) is a Canadian model and actress who was a former fashion model. Her most well-known roles include her role in Stick It (2006) and Officer Andy McNally (ABC and Global Television Network series Rookie Blue) in which she received a nomination in the year 2016. Peregrym was a Montrealer and was raised by Rev. Darrell Peregrym, a Pentecostal minister[2][3 and Vanessa Peregrym, a housewife. Peregrym claims to be a tomboy in her childhood. In 2000, Peregrym began her acting career in an episode of Dark Angel, shot in Vancouver, British Columbia. After her first role Peregrym was a cast member in the roles of guest stars in The Chris Isaak Show and Jake 2.0. She also made appearances on Tru Calling, Smallville and Heroes. Peregrym was married to Australian actor Tom Oakley in Los Angeles on December 30, 2018. [21] Oakley and Peregrym have their son Otis Paradis Oakley who was born on March 21 20th, 2020. [22The 22-year-old Mela Josephine Oakley was also born to them on June 6 2022. Oakley and Sheryl made public announcements about their pregnancy via Instagram on July 8, 2022.
