Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Dennis Alan Taylor was a banker in the past. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a Psychotherapist. His father was an Argentine with Scottish and English heritage. Her mother's ancestry is Spanish and English. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children from her father's prior marriage. They resided in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy was 6 years old, later moving to Victoria district in London. Taylor Joy stated that moving from Buenos Aires to Victoria was difficult and she did not study English in hopes of going back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the moved from Northlands. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she studied ballet and acted in school productions. She quit high school when she was 16 in order to focus on her acting career. Taylor-Joy was born to be an actress from a very young age. Her dreams were realized when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling gig.
